Luxottica is known for its elegant opulence and the most recent press day exuded exactly that. The press day took place at the luxurious and scenic setting of La Parada, overlooking Constantia Nek. La Parada was the perfect space to host the event, reflecting the sophisticated elegance of Luxottica. The refreshing open space led quests to colourful outdoors and mountain views.


Guests included Cape Town’s most stylish creators, enthusiasts and innovators. Guests had the chance to scope the space, try out a range of frames and enjoy a beautiful Cape Town afternoon. Sipping on champagne and snacking on tasteful snacks, guests seemed to enjoy the interactive and luxurious event.  A beautiful feature wall provided a perfect backdrop for photos; a baby pink foreshadowed by cascading hanging flowers; a definite favourite for Cape Town’s curated instagrammers.

The event displayed a range of every luxury designer brand one can think of; from classic icons to edgy collaborations. Oakley showcased it’s well known sporty edge, Vogue impressed with innovative designs and Ray-Ban displayed the identifying wayfarer and aviator frames. The shades were the star of the day and guests could be seen mingling around the tables of displays. Atmosphere Communications’s Luxottica Press Day was another successful event.
